OVERVIEW • visual: quanxi is a woman who appears to be in her mid 30's. she has white hair that she usually fashions in a ponytail to the side. she has a black eyepatch and a perpetually dead expression. she can either be seen in business casual attire or a black tanktop with pants. • voice: she speaks in a low tone and is prone to mumbling. as the chainsaw man anime adaption is pending, quanxi will eventually have an official voice actor. • personality: quanxi is an apathetic woman who does not ever emote. she seems to be indifferent to most things and speaks of life and death in a matter-of-fact manner. despite this, quanxi isn't emotionless - she gets angry, and shows displeasure at the mistreatment of her harem of fiends. capable as quanxi is as the first devil hunter, she has a high libido and avoids the burden of heavy duty work to stay inside having sex with her fiends instead. • background: quanxi is known as the first devil hunter. despite her appearance, quanxi does not physically age, and is in fact around fifty years old. she was once partner to experienced devil hunter, kishibe. kishibe often pestered quanxi to 'be his woman,' to which quanxi rejected each of his advances. this happened for an odd ten years until quanxi admitted that she was only attracted to women. at some point, kishibe and quanxi broke off their partnership, and quanxi returned to china. it was there where quanxi acquired her harem of women, a group of fiends - devils possessing the bodies of human corpses. when a hit on the chainsaw devil is put out, quanxi is amongst the hunters to track him down. it is revealed during her trip to japan that quanxi is a hybrid, a human who can take on the form of a devil. when two of quanxi's girlfriends are killed, quanxi pleads with makima to spare the two remaining, saying that she'll even lick makima's shoes. however, quanxi is beheaded along with her girlfriends. she is later reanimated in a brainwashed state by makima to serve her.
